After upgrading the Kernel. No stable switch off [Solved]

Post by albfneto » Fri Jul 21, 2017 22:20

In my main installation of Sabayon Linux, 17.04, fully upgraded.
I switched and upgraded the kernel to 4.11, with kernel-switcher.
Sabayon works,,,, This installation, when i write this message

But sometimes (occured 4 times), after using the computer, the system not fully switches off (both using the graphical interfaces or the systemctl poweroff command)... the "switching off processes" becomes freezed.....

the only way to fully switch the computer off, was using the hardware button....

But this manner made errors in the file system, and these issues caused "emergency mode" errors in rebooting... To correct these file system errors, i needed to open my "Sabayon Tests" installation, or my OpenSUSE installation and run "fsck" with the system unmounted.... both Root, / and /home were damaged.

These problems only occured after upgrade of the kernel from 4.10 to 4.11.

Systemd Issue??
