Getting Sabayon?

Post by thisllub » Sun Jan 07, 2007 0:49

Hello.

I would like to try Sabayon but I am having no luck at getting hold of an image.
I have tried the torrent but the maximum sustainable download speed I can get is 5kb/s.
The mirror at http://mirror.cs.vt.edu/pub/SabayonLinux/ has failed twice around the 1GB mark.

I am in Australia.Does anyone know of any other mirrors?

Firewall?

Are you behind some type of firewall? I had the same problem with mine until I forwarded soem ports to the IP address I was downloading from.

Hope this helps.

Bittorrent is VERY busy, but sadly most are leechers only.

Come on guys, open up those ports. And continue to seed after you have yours.

I'm leeching it mainly to seed atm. Not sure if the update is worth the DVD... still pushing for a transparent update path :P

I'm also still seeding 3.25

cheers
