Heart Bleed [Solved]

Postby shade304 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 23:39

Heart bleed problem getting so much attention, the suggestion of wiping a system and re-installing because it's not possible to tell if the keys have been compromised, I don't know if this is accurate, but it is widely reported on the news, should we wait for a new version to come out that is patched and start wiping everything, or will an equo upgrade work? Is there a guide to resetting the keys without a re-install? Is there a tool to scan all files on the system and compare with a list of what should be on the system?

after upgrade I think "re-hash" all certs is done but if you have a doubt , run :
Code: Select all
# c_rehash

Code: Select all
 # c_rehash
Doing /etc/ssl/certs

ACEDICOM_Root.pem => 381ce4dd.0
AC_Raíz_Certicámara_S.A..pem => 6f2c1157.0
Actalis_Authentication_Root_CA.pem => 930ac5d2.0
AddTrust_External_Root.pem => 157753a5.0

AddTrust_Public_Services_Root.pem => 8b59b1ad.0
