SysRq key

Postby Jago25_98 » Mon Mar 04, 2013 0:59

Sometimes I try to reboot and I get a freeze at trying to umount the LM volume. So I try SysRq+r,s,e,i,u,b but only 'i' responds with `changing runlevel`.

This sounds like a userspace config... seems strange to disable that emergency umount... did Gentoo deem it a security risk? (and losing data seen as less important)
Everytime someone helps me I give $5 to Sabayon. Hopefully this will speed up equo bandwidth. If someone has helped you, why not say thanks and donate to speed it up for all :-)
