emerge ksensors messed up :(

Postby Gtrax » Sun Dec 24, 2006 17:58

Sabayon is very new to me.
I tried "emerge ksensors", and it did not complete. I have no idea whether this is a Gentoo thing, or something about Sabayon.

The compiler did deliver large numbers of "warnings", but seemed not to care.
Examples are :
Code: Select all
warning: enumeration value ‘dgDefault’ not handled in switch
panelsgroup.h:32: warning: unused parameter ‘widget’
panelsgroup.h:32: warning: unused parameter ‘parent’
panelsgroup.h:32: warning: unused parameter ‘name’

Other kinds of warning were typically:
Code: Select all
lmsensorswidget.cpp:123: warning: enumeration value ‘ParentPaletteChange’ not handled in switch
lmsensorswidget.cpp:123: warning: enumeration value ‘ApplicationPaletteChange’ not handled in switch
lmsensorswidget.cpp:123: warning: enumeration value ‘PaletteChange’ not handled in switch
lmsensorswidget.cpp:123: warning: enumeration value ‘Clipboard’ not handled in switch
lmsensorswidget.cpp:123: warning: enumeration value ‘Speech’ not handled in switch
lmsensorswidget.cpp:123: warning: enumeration value ‘SockAct’ not handled in switch

And finally - the bad news..
Code: Select all
/usr/kde/3.5/lib/libkdeui.so: undefined reference to `QProgressBar::~QProgressBar()'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[3]: *** [ksensors] Error 1
make[2]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

!!! ERROR: kde-misc/ksensors-0.7.3 failed.

  kde.eclass, line 335:   Called die

!!! died running emake, kde_src_compile:make

I could use a suggestion about how to make this happen right :|

here's a possible bit of help: http://sabayonlinux.org/forum/viewtopic ... 5618db7540
otoh, where sabayon is running the unstable branch of gentoo, it might just be a bug in the ebuild. I'd wait a couple days, and then try and emerge --sync and try again.
