No fancy boot art? [Solved]

Post by Z0K4 » Wed Jan 16, 2013 23:54

Hello, my question is simple:
Can I (safely) remove that boot animation and everything that goes with it (instead of it I want to see all info, errors etc... like booting Arch, or Slackware)?

Thanks in advance.

Code: Select all

# nano -w /etc/default/sabayon-grub
remove splash=silent,theme:sabayon parameter

or edit :

splash=verbose,theme:sabayon parameter

and

Code: Select all

# grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub/grub.cfg
enjoy
