This Review says What!!!

http://all-things-linux.blogspot.com/20 ... yon-6.html

Overall, Sabayon 6 is a nice looking system, sleek and stylish, with a good selection of software, but like its predecessors it is unpredictable. Some things work really well, even better than in other distributions, others not at all. Sabayon is fun but as ever a mixed bag. I can't really recommend it other than to those already running it who will have their reasons.

Well, I guess everyone is entitled to an opinion. Good thing it is only an opinion..

I was hoping that by posting the review excerpt here that someone else would weigh in.
Really trying to be adult about this but decided after considering all options to use the Hi Tech approach...

http://all-things-linux.blogspot.com/20 ... -xbmc.html Ended up with a average conclusion : it's ok but it's not ok. He's not sure of anything, I think he's a ubuntu fan :-?

A proper review requires at least a few days, not just pointing out what's good or bad without trying and thinking for a while and giving reasons, proofs, ...
If things fails, it's just that: it failed for that person in that moment. That's what that user got in that moment and that's all.
Take note of what was wrong for that user and try to take a look by yourself while the testing process before the release. Forget about everything else.

The blogger states "a quick look" that is not a review.
You guys forgot your glasses today?

Yeah, he does try to protect his groin with the famous weak ploy "Quick LOOK"
.....but he covers from the Install and then steps through most items including the apps plus Likes and Dislikes.
In the online LINUX world it is about as complete a Review as I am accustomed to seeing..
There are larger and smaller write ups that get labeled the Reviews.
I am not sure I can let him slide with the "Quick LOOK" defense. :P
