depends on what region you're in, you might want to specify that

also, you can buy from online which supports vendors and such

Google Search for Linux User Group "LUG" around you city. Check out colleges around where you live and ask the computer lab geeks if anyone knows someone with Linux.

Like the IBM Linux kid commercial we users are everywhere but you have to search around.

but see thats the problem that i'm trying to get away from microsoft i don't want to pay alot of money just to switch my O.S. If i could get a free disk and only pay shipping that would be really great.

Not that I can necessarily afford to do this for everyone but if anyone who reads this is unable for some reason to download or purchase a disc through Linuxcd.org or some other online retailer I will send you one if I am monetarily able to at the time. But please remember that It will be when I am able to send it and at the lowest cost to myself so please dont expect an overnight delivery ;)

Also since I purchase my cd's online it takes me some time as well to recieve my copies as well.

It is my belief that if you want Linux to succeed as a viable alternative to other OS's you must be willing to provide it for those in want or need. since there is no one singular driving force behind the commercial exposure of Linux it behooves us all to do our bit.

Thank you to the Sabayon developers for the opportunity for me to do my part. If this is unacceptable to any of the developers please let me know and I will withdraw my offer since I do not wish to undermine your efforts to recoup monies from your efforts.

Oregon, thats where Open Source Lab lives, http://osuosl.org/

Are you near Oregon State University or another campus? Go to the Computer Science building and tell them that you want Linux, someone will help you out.
