Postby veelos » Fri Dec 26, 2008 2:15

So my DVD drive is broken (laptop).. Can I somehow install Sabayon? I tried extracting the image to USB hard drive and boot but it didnt work. I can now use Sabayon only from Vista with VmWare :/

I have the same problem...

One of the best solution would be make USB Live using this tool: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UNetbootin but it's not support Sabayon :(

http://unetbootin.sourceforge.net/ - UNetbootin - Universal Netboot Installer

As of the latest version (307), UNetbootin now supports Sabayon 4 LiteMCE; either let it download it for you or supply an ISO yourself. Feedback welcome.
