Unable to Login to Login Shell (Ctrl + Alt + F1)

Hi all;

Now most part of my sabayon is working very well , and just yesterday that Ctril + Alt + F1 , Login Console cannot be logged in for any users!!

I can use root or any other userts for Xsessions but I cannot login to Login Shell . Any idea? every time i try to login with any user it saids wrong password. I do not need login shell for now but thats weird..

What Sabayon version? Did you happen to update anything lately? PAM perhaps? Can you open a terminal in your X session? Can you use `su -` to simulate a login?

Maybe very simple and stupid, but are your keymaps in console the same as in X.
I had that problem once, spent a few ours till I found what the problem was. It was very frustrating but once found the fix was easy :alien:
