Sabayon - Error installing HD GPT with UEFI.

Post by kholyphoenix1 » Sun Dec 03, 2017 17:08

Hello,

HD Condition: New (I received it today)
HD 1TB Sata 3, 64Mb Cache, WD Purple.
Converted to GPT.
BIOS Configured in: UEFI or Legacy.

I'm using a New DVD with Sabayon 16.11 Gnome.
I open the installation screen and click on the default installation.
Then it creates all the partitions and even creates 2 boot partitions.
The first / boot partition and the other / boot / efi do not know why.

An error occurs when you are about to complete the installation:
It says it was not possible to create the boot and asks me if I want to ignore it.

Error Description:
An error occurred while installing the boot manager. The system may not boot. Do you want to skip this and continue with the installation? And the buttons are not.

Hi.
Please try the latest daily or Monthlyimage(s)

about /boot/efi

This is mandatory for UEFI boot . EFI partition must be formatted as FAT32
