firefox on youtube video flicker [Solved]

I have just installed the latest sabayon xfce when I try to play a video on firefox it flickers really bad and wont search it is just locked up any ideas

it appears to be fixed I altered display resolution to 2560x1440 and it seems ok I also installed opera so am not sure what fixed the problem
