Issues Related to Hardware (Sound, Video, Printers, Scanners, Webcams, Touchpads, Keyboards, Sensors, Drives, GRUB, etc.)
I've just attached and formatted to ext4 a 3TB hard drive for extra storage however I'm getting the 'access denied. could not write to' error when trying to transfer files to it.
It looks like it's because root is the owner/user that it's set to rather than my username but I'm not sure how to go about changing this.
It's a bit strange though as I've not had to do this with any other drives that I've attached to and formatted with Sabayon.

chown username:usergroup /mountpoint
On side note, make sure that you have GPT layout, because MBR can't really use partitions larger than (IIRC) 2 TB.
On second side note, this probably wasn't posted on right board.
