sound card problem - Sager NP2740 - PCH -HDA Intel PCH-

Good evening everybody,

I am a brand new user of Sabayon, but I've been using linux for more than 5 years (Fedora, Ubuntu...).

My computer is a brand new Clevo-Sager NP2740 (Intel I7 4750 HQ) and the installation of Sabayon went very well. It is the last version with all the updates.

But I have no sound, neither on the speakers nor on headphones. I went on the online wiki, and tried through a live version to do what it is suggested:

rmmod snd-hda-intel
modprobe snd-hda-intel model=VT1802

On the live version, that fixed completely the problem. Full sound. I went back on my real version, I did the same and it doesnt work at all :( Still no sound. And no idea how to solve it.

On the Audio Mixer, everything is turned on: Master - Headphones and Speakers.

I would really appreciate some help.

In advance, thank you very much.

Remi.
