Does this also fix the "funky replicated font" issue we have been experiencing?

Thank you.

So I have a bad experience with both opensource and proprietary drivers.
I installed both and does not work.
I have a board and a intel ati.
in xorg.conf appears that the error is with the intel driver.
see if the same case, return the intel driver to version 2.20
in my case none worked.

I don't know why Sabayon has all these problems wit ATI Radion cards all of the other Linux distros have seemed to have it under control except for Sabayon, I was hoping that they would at least attempt to fix the problem , but it seems I would have a better chance at just getting a new motherboard , i tried fixing the problem myself ounce by editing the grub, took out all references to graphics card settings and it worked but I had to do it every time i booted even though i edited and saved the grub...., my next computer will have nothing to do with AMD or ATI i feel as though I have been left out in the cold without a jacket all because the motherboard i purchased had a radeon , they say hind sight is 20/20

ATI/AMD is "broke" (financially), nvidia is too busy with tegra and tablets, desktops are in decline, and Intel graphics just don't cut it.

Having played with nvidia and ATI, not sure who is the winner, but ATI did publish a small truckload of docs for open source drivers (unlike nvidia), and if not for AMD, Intel would still be selling 32 bit P4's :)

Moral of the story, nobody wins I suppose.....
