Touchpad does not tap in Acer Aspire One D250 [Solved]

Postby mmutoo » Fri Mar 08, 2013 0:21

Hi all,
I have installed Sabayon xfce on an Acer Aspire One D250 recently. I have several problems with the hardware though. I know that these devices are pretty tricky and annoying. I am struggling with the WiFi right now since it does not work with any distro. However, every Ubuntu derivative I installed detected the touchpad and clicks when I tap on it. In Sabayon, the touchpad works partially. It moves the mouse pointer but it does not tap. Anybody knows a solution for that?

Thanks

For tap in console try:
synclient TapButton1=1
or
synclient TapButton2=1
or
synclient TapButton3=1
Good luck!

Even better: [Solved] :)
as explained in: viewtopic.php?f=86&t=17059
Add "[Solved]" to the end of the Subject text. Note that you add "[Solved]" (not "[solved]", "(solved)", "[SOLVED]", "{SOLVED}" or whatever).
