if you don't know how kernel you're running....

"uname -r" show your current kernel .

the command will install the correct driver for the kernel in use

Alright it appears my drivers are now working! Thank you so much!
But now I weird issue, my login screen turned this weird burned greyish color and my desktop turned from GNOME3 Classic to GNOME3 non-Classic.

You lost me now here: not a GNOME fan at all! Btw could be related to proprietary drivers.

The GNOME disk was the only one that wanted to boot on my laptop. My laptop is a bit temperamental when it comes down to Linux.

But my last question, do you know how to change the background for the login window? I believe that might actually be the problem, but I have no idea how change it nor is Google helping very much.

On an off-topic note: I personally use Openbox and MATE for my desktop environments and also thank you so much for your help! :D

I figured what I was doing wrong and was able to replace the login window, so I am putting this one as solved.
Thanks Matte88 for helping me! ^_^
