Radeon - no "2560x1440" (hsync out of range)

I got new 27" monitor, but cannot setup a native resolution 2560x1440. I think it's because of this line in X log:

Code: Select all
[   199.609] (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "2560x1440" (hsync out of range)
[   199.609] (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "1920x1440" (hsync out of range)
[   199.609] (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "1856x1392" (hsync out of range)
[   199.609] (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "1792x1344" (hsync out of range)
[   199.609] (II) RADEON(0): Not using mode "720x400" (vrefresh out of range)

I works fine with Ubuntu on the same pc, so something is misconfigured here.

The whole X log is here - http://bpaste.net/show/74846

Have a look at Gentoo Linux Wiki - Cannot switch to better resolution / refresh rate on VGA connected display. Other possibly helpful posts are: How can I make Sabayon recognize my Samsung monitor? (but replace "FGLRX" with "ati") and Screen resolution & refresh rate problem (but replace "fglrx" and "nvidia" with "ati", and obviously ignore the part about NVIDIA Settings).
