Issues Related to Hardware (Sound, Video, Printers, Scanners, Webcams, Touchpads, Keyboards, Sensors, Drives, GRUB, etc.)
I'm looking for some tips. As soon as I get time I plan on putting Sabayon on my laptop. It has the Intel 965 graphics. I'm hoping the new Intel driver will fix the HDMI problem they it should. Anyways what I wanted to know was how to get my Xorg setup correctly. My laptop can do 1280x800 and my external monitor can do 1680x1050. Last time I got this setup the menu bar and everything was in the wrong spot and I couldn't get it fixed. My mouse would also go off in space in the virtual space. Is this an innate problem with Xorg and different size screens?

It's more or less an inate problem with anything displaying a signle screen on more than one display at different resolutions. best bet is to set it up as two seperate X servers. It's kind of annoying to work with but it works.
