Sabayon Linux installation + Video card drivers help

Postby viggahv » Tue Apr 01, 2008 1:12

I have a BFG 8800 GTS 512 mb video card. When I try to live boot or install linux, it finishes the boot up process then my monitor just turns off. I feel that it is not picking up my video card. Can anyone please advise?

see if this works - hit f5 when the initial menu pops up and use xdriver=vesa or xdriver=vga, which should make your video card work (though with no desktop acceleration).
