I need a professional opinion

Postby Ratchet4620 » Wed Mar 12, 2008 8:07

first my hardware specs

Motherboard : ASUS A7N266-VM/AA
GFX Card: Nvida 6200
Processor: AMD Atholon XP 2GHZ
RAM: 717MB
Sabayon Ver: 3.5 beta

Ok what happens is after say 10-30mins my screen just goes black for no apparent reason.
no mater what i do it stays black and I end up turning off the comp and restarting.
then it repeats this again. one thing i noticed is it seems to happen faster when im using the TV output on the GFX card

I have taken the GFX card out and it seems to work fine on the built in GFX but I of course don't have any of my fancy features like desktop acceleration ect.

What I would like someones opinion of is whether or not my GFX card is screwed up or Sabayon?

Thanks for any help given ,
John
