realtek alc888 sound not working

Postby currymaker » Sun Jan 06, 2008 14:17

HI,help needed from the experts, I am a linux newby and have just loaded the 3.4e distro seems to be working ok except for random freezing, got to sort that out, but initially, how do I get onboard sound chipset to work, I don't know where to start.
Sorry I've got more questions:-
Can you just update the distro.
Where am I best to find out how to use portato for installing to sabayon.
Went on the flash site and it gave 3 download options haven't got a clue which to use. :?
