lapack-reference build errors

Postby fusion809 » Mon Sep 21, 2015 13:34

I've been running
Code: Select all
emerge @preserved-rebuild
and this attempts to emerge sci-libs/lapack-reference-9999::science (here's the ebuild, if somehow this is ambiguous), but this gives the error:

Code: Select all
Error: /var/tmp/portage/sci-libs/lapack-reference-9999/image//etc/env.d/alternatives/lapack/reference already present. You need ot remove it before adding it again

I have tried removing /var/tmp/portage/sci-libs/lapack-reference-9999/image//etc/env.d/alternatives/lapack/reference with
Code: Select all
rm -r /var/tmp/portage/sci-libs/lapack-reference-9999/image//etc/env.d/alternatives/lapack/reference
but still I keep getting this error. I have added a new issue for this question in the science overlay GitHub repo, but in my limited experience (granted I've only added one other issue there) they aren't all that efficient at getting me a solution, so I thought I'd ask this question here too.

Thanks for your time,
