portage: COUNTER was corrupted; what does this mean?

Post by fusion809 » Sat Sep 19, 2015 9:44

Hi,

I've been experiencing a heap of errors relating to BLAS, CBLAS and LAPACK and as part of my attempted trouble-shooting I'm wondering what these lines mean:

Code: Select all

portage: COUNTER for dev-libs/libpthread-stubs-0.3-r1 was corrupted; resetting to value of 0
portage: COUNTER for dev-libs/libpthread-stubs-0.3-r1 was corrupted; resetting to value of 0
portage: COUNTER for virtual/pkgconfig-0-r1 was corrupted; resetting to value of 0
portage: COUNTER for virtual/pkgconfig-0-r1 was corrupted; resetting to value of 0
and what do I need to do to fix the problems behind them.

Thanks for your time,
Brenton
