Help getting Wine to emerge with openGL

Postby z0phi3l » Thu Nov 29, 2007 23:46

Hey guys, I'm trying to re emerge Wine so it will use openGL, need it to play WoW and other games.

From the gentoo forums I added "USE="opengl"" to my /etc/make.conf, and it still wont emerge with the right settings, any ideas? Before using SL I was on BUNTU and I could get it to work so there are no hardware issues.

After realizing I forgot a step before re emerging Wine, now I get this error

Code: Select all
localhost z0phi3l # emerge --newuse world
Calculating world dependencies \

!!! One of the following masked packages is required to complete your request:

For more information, see MASKED PACKAGES section in the emerge man page or
refer to the Gentoo Handbook.
(dependency required by "app-misc/hal-info-20071011" [ebuild])

Should I unmask this?
