Anyone have a clue why my glsa check does not work? I installed the latest gentoolkit and did a system update and ran revdep-rebuild but my glsa does not work! :(

This has happened a couple of times before with different GLSAs, to fix this one open /usr/portage/metadata/glsa/glsa-200709-18.xml, go to line 40 and replace the é's in Frédéric with e's (Frederic)

Thanks!

I edited the xml and afterwards got this: " IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/usr/portage/metadata/glsa/glsa-200709-18..xml' "

Then I went to the xml and added another . and then it worked fine. Weird!
