xdm and wireless problems after baselayout update

then set the DISPLAYMANAGER value from "xdm" to "kdm" in /etc/conf.d/xdm and voila.
Funny I didn't think of that before. Oh well. Now for the wireless part... any ideas or recommendations would be appreciated.
This fix worked for me as well on my Thinkpad T60. Wireless if up and running again. Damn, it was my fault this problem happened. I did not check all 30 config files when I updated baselayout. Lesson learned :D
