Fusion Group & Tab plugin in 3.4a

Post by Wait...What? » Sat Jul 28, 2007 14:59

Anyone gotten this plugin to work in 3.4a? I've seen all of the key bindings, but holding them and trying to select windows or drag a box around them does nothing. Hopefully there is something very obvious that I'm missing.

A guy named Joosh in the chat got it working and tried to walk me threw it but I still couldn't get it to work either.

Dat was me, before trying it in sabayon 3.4a.

The procedure should be like this:

Super +S on first window
Super +S on next
Super +S on next
...etc

Now we can group those selected windows togheter

Super +G
Super +T (to enable the little tab thumbnails)

We have now 1 physical window holding more windows, with it's own little thumbnail menu.
Hold your mouse over the title bar and it will appear.

Or

Super + right arrow
Super + left arrow

To rapidly tab through the group.

But yeah I still can't get it to work. When I super+S I get no highlight like you got with yours in the video.

Did you remove all of compiz-fusion first and then emerge?
