I will install the Sabayon distribution, I just want to learn something. Does it support deepin desktop?

Not directly no. There is a Gentoo overlay you could try to use to install it, but you won't be able to get any official support.

Sabayon generally provides pre-compiled Gentoo packages. By having one server compile them all, the packages have a guarantee to be compatible.

However, since they are all sourced from Gentoo to begin with (with maybe a couple of Sabayon-linux specific Gentoo packages thrown into mix) it is possible to install packages from Gentoo as well. It's also possible to destroy your install entirely by replacing the wrong parts with differently compiled Gentoo packages.

As a newbie, I would not recommend you try and install deepin until you get the basics of Sabayon. But the good news is, since nothing in Sabayon depends on deepin, you *probably* won't mess up your entire install if you attempt to install it.
