OpenBox Key Editor (obkey) failing to launch

Post by fusion809 » Thu Sep 24, 2015 8:10

Hi,

I am running LXDE and after installing obkey through Entropy, I received the following error from running `obkey`:

Code: Select all

Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "/usr/lib/python-exec/python2.7/obkey", line 40, in <module>
    ob.load(path)
  File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/site-packages/obkey_classes.py", line 1667, in load
    self.dom = xml.dom.minidom.parse(path)
  File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/xml/dom/minidom.py", line 1918, in parse
    return expatbuilder.parse(file)
  File "/usr/lib64/python2.7/xml/dom/expatbuilder.py", line 922, in parse
    fp = open(file, 'rb')
IOError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: '/home/fusion809/.config/openbox/rc.xml'
I have also tried installing obkey through Portage from the Sabayon overlay and when it was installed this way I received the same error.

Thanks for your time,
Brenton

While this problem has not yet been solved I have managed a workaround, namely editing

Code: Select all

~/.config/openbox/lxde-rc.xml
with a text editor.
