Trinity desktop environment

Postby fusion809 » Tue Sep 22, 2015 14:45

I was wondering why the Trinity Desktop Environment (DE), which is a fork of the now unmaintained K Desktop Environment 3, is not available from any Portage overlays (I'm basing this statement on this search result), or Entropy (as Trinity is not available from the Sabayon or Gentoo overlays it is not surprising that it is not in Entropy's repositories either). I was also wondering how to build Trinity from source code manually, the Trinity Wiki only mentions how to install Trinity on more popular LDs than Sabayon or Gentoo, for that matter.

Thanks for your time,
