No, I mean something else. My opinion, with emphasis on "my", is that it tries to follow the current trend of flatness, which is not nice for my eyes. I didn't enjoy Windows 8 appearance, although I don't care for the regular issues invoked by some, as removing of the start menu. I think there is a serious segment of users who chose KDE for its differences to the other DEs, rather that for being free (as in "costs nothing"...). KDE, Gnome and other DEs should be closer to their user spirit than MacOS or Windows resemblance.
