I've recently updated Sabayon, and that brought me KDE 4.10.3.
During the upgrade, the KDE environment become unstable, the wallpaper was replaced by a white background, the KDE panels showed some "x"-es and stopped displaying their stuff, the main task bar disappeared.
Also the sound was gone.
After a restart everything seemed to be back to normal, except for the task bar, which was at position -153 on the screen.
As effect, it was not reachable. I have fixed that after editing the ~/.kde4/... files. Now, everything is good (except for one plasmoid which I had to reset).
I think all the crashes were due to a massive KDE refactoring. Anyway, this is my feeling.
Eventually, KDE looks good and seems stronger and lighter, more responsive and polished.
What do you think?
