gnome-keyring and gpg, not asking for passphrase [Solved]

Postby ddeimeke » Mon Dec 20, 2010 8:39

Hi,

I use gnome-keyring to save my WLAN-password at home.

It seems to act as gpg-agent as well.

Unfortunately I get a "bad passphrase" error message while trying to use my secret key in claws-mail.

I am happy for any hint telling me how to let gnome-keyring ask for the passphrase of my gpg-key(s).

Thanks for any support

Dirk

Many thanks for the link, that worked perfectly.

Since the gnome-keyring is acting as gpg-agent as well, only the two steps

1. Install
Code: Select all
equo install pinentry-gtk2

and

2. create ~/.gnugpg/gpg-agent.conf with

Code: Select all
pinentry-program /usr/bin/pinentry-gtk-2
no-grab
default-cache-ttl 900

were necessary.

Thanks a lot!
