taskbar fails to redraw? [Solved]

Postby nii » Sun Oct 31, 2010 6:05

This bug only occurs after clicking/activating compiz via "Compiz Fusion Icon". After I enable compiz, the taskbar acts weird and doesn't redraw.

Here's an example screenshot, the first app I open will always stay the green active application in the taskbar. No new windows that I open show in the taskbar, although the taskbar is still clickable except with no animation. Notice the Terminal's that arn't showing in the taskbar.

Hi, Welcome to the Sabayon forums
In the fusion icon, try to disable "Loose Binding" and "Indirect Rendering", if you have them checked.

Well, that doesn't do it for me. Nvidia Geforce 6200. I have to use metacity or I have no task bars, the windows are locked in place. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Wow, I feel ignorant. I had to make sure the "move window" plugin was enabled in ccsm. Oh well, maybe someone else will benefit from my rookie mistake.
