Compiz Fusion/Opengl works in Ubuntu, Hardy Heron when enabling NVIDIA restricted drivers after ubuntu install. But when I boot from liveCD in sabayon, It says Opengl Not working. Do I have to install sabayon and enable the NVIDIA resticted driver?
god, I hate ubuntu users , what version of sabayon? what nvidia card? what nvidia drivers? We need info, please provide. Restricted drivers?? please do some research before trying things, please?
“I just finished compiling glibc and now it says there is a new update available? Arrgh! It never ends!!”
Welcome here. That was a little mean - we all need to start somewhere, so we'll work through this with you. The short answer is probably yes, but we're going to need you to either find somewhere on Ubuntu's site or ask an Ubuntuite exactly what these "restricted drivers" are, ideally getting us a filename. Once you find that out, we can tell you whether it's possible to get them on SL (which it will be) and how to go about doing it.
