Mandriva was the first distro I spent any significant amount of time on. It was a good way to start to learn Linux, I think. I then went to SuSe. After that, I tried to install Gentoo the old fashioned way, but decided that was too miserable and I didn't have enough time. Now I'm using Sabayon.

i started with mandriva and i learned a lot about linux from that since nothing worked right and i had to fix a lot of stuff. then i tried a whole lot of distros but only stuck with em for like 3 days until i tried gentoo install which i stuck with for a while since i sacrificed so much time doing it. learned a lot from that though. i thikn longest one i have used is ubuntu for like 6 months... not that i dont necessarily like any of them but i like to switch and check it all out.

this may sound like betrayal but i like ubuntu a lot too :)

sabayon and ubuntu are probably my two favorites now: they make it easy for me to get up and running ( i must admit sabayon makes it even easier :))

Snowish Iconset

Postby ja5on » Tue Oct 03, 2006 20:13

Yeah. This is a real awesome icon set, very easy on the eyes. I'm going to knock up a few sabayon wallpapers in inkscape to compliment this iconset.

Regards
