Anyway, i love showing my desktop, so here it is:

Wolfden I object to having adverts rammed down my throat and it wants banning from user group boards If I click on a links from a user then I expect to see his desktop lay out or something useful not stupid advertisements. And if I want to see Advertisements I will click on the advert to view it. stop the trickery

Thought I'd try out the Sabayon Linux x86/ 4.1 GNOME-2.24 and update it to 2.26 on an old HP nx9110 I had knocking about, Theme is "overglossed" with black-white 2 gloss icons

Different PC with Sabayon Linux x86 4.1 KDE 4.2 and E17 installed from equo/spritz as per Joost Ruis's post in the blog

If the install/update gets any easier I suggest the liveDVD theme tune is changed to "Speed of Light" by Joe Satriani

Does anybody know if there's a good guide as to how to pimp your desktop. I am sometimes struggling with getting content, themes, borders, etc. right and not messing up my desktop.....

Thanks, I am using KDE now. I will have a look at the sites suggested, most probably the kde-look.org site will provide me with some useful tips and hings. Whenever I am finished I will upload the results....
