Background is anything one wants
Open Nautilus Edit - Background and I set a custom background

[quote="wolfden"]Updated my SL Pro 64 desktop -- dual screen, may have to widen your browser to see both, but get the point since both desktops are the same in Gnome

Federica Fontana:quote]

Any chance you could share that wallpaper, would look great on a machine I'm trialing 3.5 loop 1 and xfce4 on :pirat:

Ar har me heartys :pirat: one pirated desktop, not to shabby for a couple of hours work (decided to put it on my stable machine)

Updated : cleaned up top panel, added conky and changed AWN icons

Oh an I'm in luv with the AWN dock :-) click an active app an it swings the cube round to it, mint

3.5 Loop 1 machine (work in progress)

There's my desktop... I like absol in case you couldn't tell. :D
Somebody once said: "If you've got it you've got it, if you don't you don't." That statement was terribly flawed.

I'm afraid I'm not the biggest fan of KDE, but it's nice that you also get GNOME as standard on Sabayon. So, here's my GNOME desktop :)

Click here for a cube thing.... >.>

I was trying an experiment, by putting the same video of Beowulf on all four screens and then spinning the cube back and forth real fast to try and get a stereogram holographic depth effect. It didn't really work like I anticipated. I know very little about the concept but understand that the trick is to have two images offset to fool the eyes into seeing depth on a 2D flat surface.

Anyway here is my desktop demoing Compiz and Expo.

I worked on this:
Image

I have the howto and more info here: http://wgo.wolf911.us/?p=23

take screenshots of desktop and display your info. If anyone is an ascii artist, feel free to submit new ascii art.

I did not create the script, only added the ability for Sabayon Linux and changed beryl out for Compiz
