ive used both AWN and kooldock. awn has no issues on my machine, but kooldock has a couple that needs to be fixed.
Why not minimize the bottom panel? I don't think you can get rid of it, but you could make it really small.

What's that background from? :alien:

i used a 0% on the menu bar and left the expand if needed on it so the bar is only widen when needed but it doesnt bother me being all the way across, i think it looks cleaner.background is just a 3d render png that i found on a website. thanks for the thoughts :cheese:

Thanks for the info and the wiki link. I'll give it a try this weekend. I really appreciate it.

Is it possible to get the SUSE menu onto the awn dockbar?

Thats mine. Wallpaper was found at http://www.xfce-look.org/content/show.p ... tent=66281
The conky script in the left and top is courtesy of c0nv1ct. Amarok is running in the lower right and I have Avant Window Navigator (AWN) running on the bottom in 3D mode. The bar at top is my navigation bar, has kalarm and amarok running in it. The icons are GnomeCosair2: http://gnome-look.org/content/show.php/ ... tent=49487. Emerald theme came with Compiz Fusion.
