KDE gamma

Post by msdobrescu » Tue Oct 03, 2017 17:22

Hello,

Is there a proper way to calibrate a monitor's gamma?
Or is subjective to user's eye by using some images and adjusting it manually?
I have X-Rite's i1 display pro and DisplayCAL, but I am not experienced enough to find a way.
I am not talking about colours, just gamma.

Thank you.

I d'ont know if there is a package for this,

however, generally i adjust "by eye", manually.

How do you do that?
I see the greys nicely blending regardless how high or low I adjust the brightness and contrast. Am I missing something?
I have a three years old DELL U2713HM.
