This is my status.
Sabayon 14.02, 64bit, Kernel 3.13.0, with KDE 4.12.1 and Bluez 5.12.
I could manage to make bluetooth visable in taskbar after reboot with the command:
- Code: Select all
systemctl enable bluetooth
Then after useless tries to connect and access my Galaxy Note 3 with that bluetooth, I tried to connect my bluetooth headset 'Nokia BT 505', which supports the 'A2DP' protocol to finally use skype or kaffeine. Here are 2 URLs to understand, why I mention 'A2DP':
and this also:
So, then, like I did in earlier KDE releases with Bluez4, I tried to connect this A2DP supported Nokia headset. I could add this device, it was shown then as 'bluetooth device' by right click on the bt symbol in taskbar. But then, when I click on 'connect' to this device, I receive a KDE error message, a segmentation fault. This error is reproducable:
There are no other debug informations. Is there something, I can do more? I think, maybe we have (still) a KDE problem. Will you agree?
Thank you in advance.
