Hello @all,
I bought a new notebook with a Broadcom BCM43142 WLAN network controller. I found some forum entries (unfortunatly in spanish) saying that there is a chance to get this working with sabayon. Can anyone tell me how to get it working in english?
Thanks in advance

If you're using a Broadcom WiFi controller then you may need to blacklist a module. You're using the Broadcom BCM43142 controller, which does indeed require the wl (Broadcom STA) module (see b43 and b43legacy), but read through the thread: wlan and ethernet not working after installation [Solved] (the first posts about the WiFi).
P.S. I'm moving this thread to the Networking & Wireless shed, as it's a better place for it.

Hi Fitzcarraldo,
that was absolutely easy (I wonder why I wasn't able to find this thread).
Many thanks,
