Can't access bugs.kde.org [Solved]

Postby msdobrescu » Sat Oct 15, 2011 11:59

Hello,

I have a strange issue, I can't access at all bugs.kde.org.

All my browsers state they can't connect to.

I have Sabayon 6 K - now updated to 7 - installed.

My provider says they do not limit in any way the connection, I use iptables only, there is no special rule.

What should I do?

Thank you!

What do you get when you ping it in a Konsole/Terminal?

Code: Select all
$ su
Password:
# ping bugs.kde.org
# ping 89.248.108.132

Do you have any firewall enabled? For example UFW.

Code: Select all
$ su
Password:
# ufw disable

Then try pinging again.

If that doesn't work, try enabling TCP MTU probing (see Why can’t I access a specific Web site?).

What should this do?
I have removed uwf from rc and disabled it too.
It is not a running process also.

Same to me, still, I can't access it from Sabayon, but I can from Windows 7.
