Can't find network interface for Wireshark [Solved]

Post by Helped » Thu Jun 10, 2010 21:50

My network interface is shown as "Auto eth1" but there are no devices in /dev which I noticed. Wireshark shows no network interfaces at all!

You have to run Wireshark as root to see network interfaces and connections..
Dell L502X - Core i7-2840QM/8GB DDR3/GF 540M 2GB/Corsair GT 240GB/Full HD
Debian 7
Win 7 still installed
Linux user no. 491024
