wireless is grey out

Postby Darkangel » Thu Jul 24, 2008 6:02

I'm wanting to install sabayon linux onto my laptop. I've booted up in live mode and noticed that the option to choose wireless is greyed out. Does that mean i have to find stuff to get it to work? is that complicated for someone with no linux history? How hard.

Well its relatively difficult, you just need to find out what chipset your wireless is using first, then google it with the word Linux and see what comes up.
