Okay have you tried the knetworkmanager next to time top right of your screen in KDE desktop just click it and select wifi or right click it and select wifi you want to connect too.

Otherwise it recognises your wifi in the terminal / konsole as you posted.
You can do it manually with
# net-setup
obviously as root or
# sudo net-setup

Follow the instructions and more or less as close to what you might think is correct or you can always do this again if needed or on a mistake.

Note Linksys and linksys is 2 different networks / things in linux so check caps or small letters in linux.

See the new-user guide above ibiblio icon below this post of mine or the wiki / how-to thingy top right of this page for more info.
The old school way is in the networking part of this forum as a sticky something "before ipw3945 ....." and it has other links for old school way to do it.

This should be easy or search the forums for your atheros or AR5006 wifi card as someone has posted a fix / how-to already.

PS> you might ahve to check waht version of Sabayonlinux you are using as some of them have different problems we tried to fix already.
dvd or cd
32bit or 64bit
3.4 mini , 3.4a , 3.4e , 3.4f , BE , PE1.1 , 3.5 loop / beta testing versions.

Hope this helps.
