Error on boot-up of install.

Hi,

Disc Error 32, AX=4280, Drive 9F

This is the error i get when i try to boot the SabayonLinux3.4E disc on 3 different machines, all with completely different hardware.

Not sure I understand your question. The title says install but the content suggests your having issues booting the livedvd. Which is it?

did you check the md5sum? burn the disk as slow as possible?

Sounds like it fails on 3 machines, bad disk, iso

yeah from my experience with a bad backtrack iso, id say try a new ISO.

This error is from both the 64bit versions and the 32bit versions, the disc simply wont boot, and thats from two different mirrors! I surely can't be the only one to have this hassle. Its doing the same in 3 different machines.

Also, burnt the image at only 4 speed, so it should be ok considering the discs are 16x

well are you expecting some magic answer? i mean im no linux expert, but being you took the variable of the machine out, it has to be the iso

still didn't say if you checked the md5sum and used burn verify - the odds of this are slim on 3 machines. No specs of the machines been mentioned yet either.

3.4F, same problem.

All discs burnt with ImageBurn... Going to try a diff program.
