If you have a recent -dev iso with this problem, you can open a root shell on the live desktop and:

Code: Select all

equo update

and then

Code: Select all

equo install dev-python/pyparted
This will only work for -dev images because they have the testing repository enabled.
Other images will have the fix included next week.
I tested with the day of ISO (Sabayon_Linux_DAILY_amd64_GNOME.iso 2015-01-24 02:10 1.6G) and continues in error. After testing I did as directed and continues in error, the installer does not start.

The error persists in ISO: "Sabayon_Linux_DAILY_amd64_GNOME.iso 2015-01-26 01:45 1.6G"

Does this bug is very complicated? Why has already persisted for some time. The anaconda installer simply does not open.

## Updating installed packages repository: dev-python/pyparted-3.10.2
That is not the version with the fix. Please read what I wrote.

I saw that their correction is apra the summer "-dev" ISO. But what I'm asking is that the "normal" version, without being the "-dev" still has a problem and the installer does not open.

You can not do a manual installation, if you choose the language pt_BR, see the error that appears. Try to do to view the error!

Note that an error appears if I try to report the error disc manual partitioning.

Re: Error in the anaconda installer

Ok so i started to test the anaconda installer in different ways
but there is no way to tell this snake to use a custom sda Layout
only LVM and preselected Layout works ???

so i took an old 14.01 installation iso
and it works fine :D

i updated the system
AND THEN !!! the nvidia-driver 340.76 isn't working !!!
next step was to install a GENTOO
the nvidia-driver is 340.65 and all works fine !
Thx
