The kernel runs fine on this machine, the problem is with the liveCD.

Maybe you know another way to install sabayon (chroot ?)

Installing via chroot, but i'm stuck at this step : equo rescue generate
With this error :
System database not found or corrupted, running in safe mode using temporary, empty repository
then equo idles, i have to kill it with signal 9 !

Well, I'm having the same issues with my notebook ( Dell - Inspiron 14 ). I could boot up just fine on my PC, but when it comes to my notebook it does the same thing ( panic - caps lock keeps flashing blablabla ). o.O

The daily DVD has a broken kernel for some computers. There's a patched one making it's way through the repos. It should be a part of the daily images starting on Monday, I believe.
